Terms of use

The rules for using this website. They're short on purpose. Hiring through Level is covered by a separate agreement with your company.

Draft of Oct 20, 2026

Draft - needs legal review: Not reviewed by a lawyer. Do not publish as final.

This is a plain-English draft, not reviewed by a lawyer.

Marked gaps need real details before launch. A lawyer should also confirm these points:

  • Legal entity name, registered address and contact for notices.
  • Governing law and the courts or venue for disputes.
  • The limitation of liability and disclaimer wording, which varies by state.
  • That placement fees, the free-replacement guarantee and its conditions sit only in the client agreement.
  • The policy of dropping anyone who sends false pay records (reps are never charged: confirmed).
  • Permission to reuse job description templates and quote the pay data.

Who you're dealing with

levelhires.com is run by [Legal entity name] (“Level”, “we”, “us”), [registered address]. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

What this site is

Level recruits field salespeople for US home service companies. This site explains what we do, publishes pay data, guides and calculators, and lets hiring companies and reps get in touch.

Level is a recruiter, not an employer of the reps it places. Reps are hired directly by the hiring company, on that company’s terms. Nothing on this site is an offer of employment from Level.

If you're hiring

Sending us a brief doesn’t commit you to anything. If you go ahead with a search, the fee, the free-replacement guarantee and their conditions are set out in a separate agreement between Level and your company. These website terms don’t set or change any of that.

What we tell you about a rep’s close rate and pay history is what we verified from their records. The decision to interview, test and hire is yours, and so is the employment relationship that follows.

If you're a sales rep

Applying is free. It doesn’t guarantee an interview or a job, and we can’t promise any particular pay. Hiring companies make their own decisions.

Everything you send us must be true and your own. That includes your sales figures, your close rate and any commission statements or W-2s. We check them, and we stop working with anyone who sends false or altered information.

Pay data, guides and calculators

Figures on this site come from third parties: government data, surveys, vendors, job postings and trade press. Sources can change or turn out to be wrong, and figures can go out of date between checks.

Pay figures describe what others reported or advertised. They are not a promise of what any rep will earn. Calculators run on the numbers you enter and give estimates, not forecasts.

Nothing here is legal, tax, financial or employment advice. Questions such as W-2 or 1099, pay plan design or state licensing should go to your accountant or lawyer.

Using the site

Please don’t:

  • submit false information or pretend to be someone else;
  • try to break, overload or get around the security of the site;
  • scrape the site in a way that slows it down for other people;
  • use the site to send spam or to collect other people’s details.

Our content

The text, design and tools on this site belong to Level or the people we license them from. You’re welcome to quote our pay data with a link back to the page, and to use our job description templates for your own hiring. Please don’t republish whole pages or present our work as yours.

We link to the sources behind our numbers and to other useful sites. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for what they publish or how they handle your data.

No warranties

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we don’t promise that it will always be available, error-free or up to date.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Level isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses from using this site or relying on its content, including lost profits or a hiring decision that didn’t work out. [Liability cap and wording, per legal review]

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State]. Disputes go to the courts of [county and state], unless the law where you live says otherwise.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. Using the site after that means you accept the new version.
